July is here, we're already halfway through the year. It's often around this time that we naturally begin reflecting on what has unfolded so far, what we've accomplished, what still feels unfinished, and what we're still hoping to achieve.
A Year of Becoming series with Anouk Marie-Ange, a monthly reflection series we created as a space to reflect, then explores the shifts we experience in our daily lives. Guided by her intuitive deck, The Oracle of Light, each month Anouk draws one card, along with a reading and a journal prompt to guide us as we navigate change, rebuild momentum, and find balance within ourselves.
As for July, the cards invite us for the theme: Abundance.
CARD OF THE MONTH : ABUNDANCE
The message from the card:
Abundance is already here, waiting to be seen. It lives in the flow of life, in small moments of joy, in connection, in opportunity, and in the beauty of everyday living. As you begin to notice what is present, life feels more open, supported, and full. There is always more to receive than you realize.
What you can reflect:
Halfway through the year, it's easy to focus on everything that's still left to do. We compare ourselves to the goals we set in January, the plans that didn't happen, or the version of life we thought we'd have by now.
We can feel that’s the root of why this card unfolds and offers a different perspective.
We tend to associate abundance with more money, bigger opportunities, or reaching the next milestone, in a loud and apparent language. But we forgot sometimes abundance can also look like having the courage to say no. A friendship that has stayed consistent. A healthier routine you've managed to maintain. Feeling more at peace with yourself than you were six months ago.
By taking time to notice these moments, we can slowly realize that more than often abundance is something that we have lived in and start appreciating what has already found its way into our lives.
